Basketball Recap: Central Now 8-2 over Last Ten Games

It was a proper cat-fight when Central took on Mundy's Mill on Friday. The Central Lions walked away with a 35-27 win over the Mundy's Mill Tigers. This was a revenge game for the Lions: when they faced off against the Tigers back in December of 2024, they had to take a 49-47 defeat.

Central is also on a roll lately: they've won eight of their last ten games, which provided a nice bump to their 11-8 record this season. As for Mundy's Mill, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 10-8.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Central will host Griffin at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Mundy's Mill, they won't have much time to rest: their next matchup is against Drew at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday.
