Softball Recap: Paul VI Takes a Loss

Paul VI lost against Cinnaminson back in April of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Eagles fell just short of the Pirates by a score of 4-3.

Paul VI's defeat dropped their record down to 9-3-1. As for Cinnaminson, they are on a roll lately: they've won six of their last eight games. That's provided a nice bump to their 8-3 record this season.

Paul VI and Cinnaminson should be looking forward to their upcoming games as both have a sizable advantage in the MaxPreps New Jersey Rankings. The Eagles will square off against Shawnee at 3:45 p.m. on Wednesday with a big rank advantage (31 vs. 292). Meanwhile, Cinnaminson (ranked 15th) will meet Holy Cross (ranked 103rd) at 3:45 p.m. on Monday.
