Softball Recap: Glenn Rockets vs. Franklin Patriots        
        
		
            Glenn extended their losing streak  to six  on Wednesday, dropping their season record down to 9-18 in the process. They came up short against  the Franklin Patriots, falling  15-6. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Patriots this season, as they also lost their prior matchup  15-5  on Wednesday.
  Rylie Sansom made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and  went 2-for-3 with two  runs, one  triple,  and two  RBI.  Sam Farrell was another key player,  going 3-for-4 with two  runs, two  doubles,  and one  RBI.
As for Franklin,  the  win made it two in a row for them and  bumps their season record up to 7-14. 15 seems to be a good number for they as the  squad scooped up a  victory with the same number of  runs in their previous game.
On Franklin's side,  Mckenna Moore made a splash while hitting and pitching. She  struck out 14 batters over  seven innings while giving up  three earned  (and three unearned) runs off   four  hits. Those  14  strikeouts gave  Moore a new career-high. She was also stellar in the batter's box,  going a perfect 4-for-4 with five  RBI, two  runs,  and one  double.
 In other batting news,  Savana Mullen was  incredible,  going a perfect 5-for-5 with five  runs, one  triple,  and two  RBI. Those  five  runs gave  her a new career-high. Another player making a difference was  Claire Galatis, who  went 3-for-5 with two  runs, one  stolen base,  and one  RBI.
 Looking ahead, Glenn will be playing in front of their home fans against Fordson  at 4:00  p.m.  on Thursday. The Rockets are facing the Tractors at the right time seeing as the Tractors are stuck on  a  16-game losing streak. Franklin does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
