Preview: Southfield Arts & Tech Warriors vs. Belleville Tigers
The Southfield Arts & Tech Warriors are on the road again on Sunday and play against the Belleville Tigers at 7:00 p.m. on November 26th. Expect the scorekeeper to be kept busy: if their previous games are any indication, the pair will really light up the scoreboard.
Southfield Arts & Tech had already proven themselves in the regular season, and didn't miss a beat now that it's playoff time. They secured a 40-35 W over West Bloomfield on Saturday.
Meanwhile, Belleville put another one in the bag on Saturday to keep their perfect season alive. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat Davison 63-21 at home. Belleville might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team's won 12 matchups by 27 points or more this season.
Colbey Reed had an outrageously good game as he rushed for 220 yards and four touchdowns on only 13 carries. Reed was no stranger to the big play, turning on the jets for a run that went for 66 yards. The team also got some help courtesy of Bryce Underwood, who threw for 198 yards and three touchdowns.
Southfield Arts & Tech's win bumped their record up to 12-1. As for Belleville, they have yet to lose a match at home this season, leaving them with a 13-0 record.
