They fell just short of the Gilmer Buckeyes by a score of 43-40 on Tuesday. The Panthers' defeat continues a trend for the squad, making it five in a row.

Spring Hill's record is now 10-16. As for Gilmer, their victory ended a four-game drought on the road and puts them at 8-11.

Spring Hill will take on Cumberland Academy at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Gilmer, they will challenge Kilgore at 7:15 p.m. on Friday.
