Volleyball Game Preview: Las Plumas Thunderbirds vs. Gridley Bulldogs + How To Watch

Las Plumas is 1-9 against Gridley since May of 2021 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Tuesday. The Thunderbirds will head out on the road to square off against the Bulldogs at 6:30 p.m. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

On Thursday, Las Plumas came up short against Live Oak and fell 3-1.

While Las Plumas ultimately came up short, they really made Live Oak work, particularly in the third set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-23, 19-25, 27-25, 25-14.

Meanwhile, Gridley lost 3-0 to Orland on Thursday. The loss continues a trend for the Bulldogs in their meetings with the Trojans: they've now lost four in a row.

The match finished with set scores of 25-17, 25-19, 25-10.

Gridley's defeat dropped their record down to 22-11. As for Las Plumas, their loss dropped their record down to 3-22.

Las Plumas might still be hurting after the 3-0 defeat they got from Gridley when the teams last played on October 2nd. Can the Thunderbirds avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
