Volleyball Recap: Garretson Comes Up Short

Garretson and Baltic squared off in some playoff action on Tuesday, but Garretson had to settle for second. They lost 3-0 to the Bulldogs. The Blue Dragons just can't catch a break and have now endured nine losses in a row.

The match finished with set scores of 25-18, 25-14, 25-11.

Vivian Johnson paced Garretson's offense, picking up six kills. Johnson got some help from Bryn Stiefvater and her nine assists. Stiefvater was also solid from the service line: she led the team with two aces.

Garretson's defeat dropped their record down to 3-23. As for Baltic, they have been performing well recently as they've won 13 of their last 16 contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 22-7 record this season.

Garretson does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Baltic, they will take on West Central at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
