Humboldt has gone 7-1 against Fort Dodge recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Saturday. The Wildcats will take on the Dodgers in a tournament on Saturday. The two teams are strolling into their matchups after big wins in their previous games.

It was a proper cat-fight when Humboldt duked it out with Clear Lake on Thursday. The Wildcats were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Lions. That looming 3-0 mark stands out as the most commanding margin for the Wildcats yet this season.

Fort Dodge not only won on Tuesday, but they posted their biggest win since October 3, 2024 (when they won 3-0). Everything went their way against Lincoln as they made off with a 3-0 victory. The Dodgers haven't had any issues with the Railsplitters recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive win against them.

The victory got Fort Dodge back to even at 1-1. As for Humboldt, their win bumped their record up to 3-1.

Humboldt was able to grind out a solid victory over Fort Dodge when the teams last played back in September of 2024, winning 3-1. Will the Wildcats repeat their success, or do the Dodgers have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
