Baseball Recap: Timberlane Takes a Loss

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Timberlane can now relate to. They took a 4-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Trinity Pioneers on Thursday. The Owls have struggled against the Pioneers recently, as the game was their sixth consecutive lost meeting.

Timberlane's loss dropped their record down to 8-12-1. As for Trinity, the win (which was their 14th in a row) raised their record to 20-3.

Timberlane does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Trinity, they will square off against Exeter on Saturday. The Blue Hawks' pitching crew has only allowed 3.1 runs per game this season, so the Pioneers' hitters will have their work cut out for them.
