Basketball Recap: Lafayette Starts off Right with Win over Oak Hall + How To Watch

Lafayette had to kick off their season on the road on Tuesday, but they showed no ill effects. They walked away with a 28-17 victory over the Oak Hall Eagles. For the Hornets, this counts as revenge for the 30-27 win the Eagles walked away with the last time they faced one another back in December of 2024.

Lafayette got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was C'Koria Hill out in front who posted eight points and three steals. Those eight points gave Hill a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Jada Copeland, who earned four points and five steals.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Lafayette will face off against Suwannee at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Oak Hall, they are headed away from home for the first time to square off against St. Johns Country Day at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
