East Nashville Magnet entered their tilt with Whites Creek on Friday with four consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with five. They walked away with a 58-50 win over the Whites Creek Cobras. This was a revenge game for the Eagles: when they faced off against the Cobras back in January, they had to take a 37-34 loss.

Despite the defeat, Whites Creek saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Noah Hughes posted 20 points. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Hughes has scored all season. Eric Bryson was another key player, putting up seven points.

East Nashville Magnet pushed their record up to 12-9 with the victory, which was their fifth straight at home. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 67.0 points per game. As for Whites Creek, with the loss, they broke their seven-game winning streak and moved their record to 10-10.

East Nashville Magnet will challenge KIPP Nashville Collegiate at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. East Nashville Magnet knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past five games -- so hopefully KIPP Nashville Collegiate likes a good challenge.
