Basketball Game Preview: Northwood-Kensett Vikings vs. West Hancock Eagles

The Northwood-Kensett Vikings will venture away from home to face off against the West Hancock Eagles at 7:45 p.m. on Monday. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

Northwood-Kensett is probably headed into the matchup with a chip on their shoulder considering Lake Mills just ended the team's 14-game winning streak on Saturday. They took a 61-50 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Bulldogs. The game marked the Vikings' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

Meanwhile, West Hancock came up short against North Union on Friday and fell 67-54.

Northwood-Kensett's loss ended a seven-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 14-1. As for West Hancock, their defeat was their 12th straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 3-15.
