Volleyball Recap: Grossmont Comes Up Short

Grossmont lost against Granite Hills back in March, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Foothillers came up short against the Eagles, falling 3-0. The Foothillers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-12, 25-17, 25-15.

Granite Hills had a senior duo take command as Max Rice had eight digs and six assists and Nathaniel Hill had six digs and two aces. Diego Pollack also deserves some recognition as he had his first kill of the season.

Grossmont's defeat dropped their record down to 1-16. As for Granite Hills, they pushed their record up to 24-10 with the victory, which was their fourth straight on the road.

Grossmont didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 3-0 loss against Monte Vista on the 30th. As for Granite Hills, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, a 3-0 win against Helix on the 1st.
