Volleyball Recap: Millbrook Falls Short of James Wood in the Playoffs

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Millbrook can now relate to. They fell 3-1 to the James Wood Colonels on Monday. The defeat continues a trend for the Pioneers in their meetings with the Colonels: they've now lost nine in a row.

James Wood's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Bella Middleton, who had 16 assists and four digs.

Millbrook's loss dropped their record down to 19-4. As for James Wood, they pushed their record up to 26-2 with the victory, which was their 25th straight at home dating back to last season.

Millbrook does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for James Wood, they will take on Glass at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
