Shades Valley was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They took an 8-3 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Clay-Chalkville Cougars. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Cougars this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 14-3 back in February.

Devin Scott made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and went 2-for-4 with one triple and two RBI. Eli Nelson was another key player, scoring two runs while going 2-for-4.
