Berkeley won against Alameda last Tuesday with three runs and they decided to stick to that run total again on Thursday. Not much got past Quinton Hill, who gave up just a hit to keep Alameda off the board. Hill has been consistent recently: he hasn't given up more than two walks in four consecutive appearances.

At the plate, the team relied heavily on Akanni Owodunni, who went a perfect 3-for-3 with one home run, one stolen base, and two RBI.
