Volleyball Recap: Madison West Takes a Loss

Madison West was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their 22nd straight loss dating back to last season. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the DeForest Norskies. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Regents of the 2-1 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in September of 2024.

DeForest was led to victory by Marissa Titel and Malia Barrow. Titel had seven digs and two assists, while Barrow had six digs.

Madison West's loss dropped their record down to 0-21. As for DeForest, they are on a roll lately: they've won eight of their last nine matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 16-7 record this season.

Madison West didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 2-1 defeat against Wisconsin Dells on the 27th. As for DeForest, they have also already played their next contest, a 2-0 victory against Lake Mills on the 27th.
