Baseball Recap: Fairmont Senior Find Success

Fairmont Senior won the last time they faced Brooke and things went their way on Thursday too. The Polar Bears had just enough and edged out the Bruins 3-2. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Polar Bears.

Logan Canfield spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: he surrendered two runs (both of which were unearned) on four hits. He has been consistent recently: he hasn't given up a single earned run in three consecutive appearances.

At the plate, the team relied heavily on Matt Masters, who went 2-for-3 with one run, one double, and one RBI.

Fairmont Senior's victory bumped their record up to 24-6. As for Brooke, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 17-16.

As of now, neither Fairmont Senior nor the Bruins have any future games scheduled.
