Baseball Recap: Kennedy Takes a Loss

Kennedy was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat dating back to last season. They lost 19-7 to the Rosemont Wolverines. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Wolverines this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 9-5 last Tuesday.

Jaden Tran made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and scored three runs while getting on base in two of his four plate appearances. Sean Whitfield was another key player, scoring a run while going 1-for-3.

Kennedy's loss dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Rosemont, their record is now 2-0.

Looking ahead, Kennedy will head out to square off against West Campus at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday. As for Rosemont, they will welcome Colfax at 3:30 p.m. on Friday.
