Westfall is 8-2 against Southeastern since December of 2019 and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Friday. The Westfall Mustangs will take on the Southeastern Panthers in a holiday battle at at 7:00 p.m. One thing working in Westfall's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last four matchups.

On Tuesday, Westfall needed a bit of extra time to put away Piketon. They came out on top in a nail-biter against the Redstreaks, sneaking past 61-59. 61 seems to be a good number for the Mustangs as the squad scooped up a victory with the same number of points in their previous game.

Meanwhile, Southeastern hadn't done well against Adena recently (they were 1-8 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Tuesday. Southeastern put the hurt on Adena with a sharp 48-25 win. The Panthers have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won three games by 23 points or more this season.

Westfall's victory bumped their record up to 4-2. As for Southeastern, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 6-2.

Westfall strolled past Southeastern when the teams last played back in January by a score of 65-47. The rematch might be a little tougher for Westfall since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
