Maple Grove faced Chanhassen in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Saturday. The Crimson fell 2-0 to the Storm. The Crimson's loss signaled the end of their three-game winning streak.

Their offense was headlined by Avery Quam and Kacie Schulte, who picked up four kills apiece. They were helped by Addison Chung and Amanda Swiers, who contributed five assists each.

Maple Grove's defeat dropped their record down to 4-2. As for Chanhassen, the victory (which was their eighth in a row) raised their record to 8-1.

Maple Grove wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 2-1 loss against Delano on the 6th. Chanhassen has also already played their next game (against Providence Academy), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
