St. Mary Catholic Central waltzed into their match on Saturday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They walked away with a 2-0 victory over the Monroe Trojans. That's more bragging rights for the Falcons/Kestrels, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

St. Mary Catholic Central's win bumped their record up to 27-5-1. As for Monroe, they have been struggling recently as they've lost six of their last seven contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 12-24-1 record this season.

St. Mary Catholic Central wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 2-0 victory against Ida on the 1st. As for Monroe, they will head out on the road to square off against Belleville at 6:30 p.m. on Monday.
