Oswayo Valley kicked off their season on the road on Monday and hit a couple of potholes. They fell just short of the Port Allegany Gators by a score of 17-15. The defeat means Oswayo Valley is still on the hunt for the season's first 'W'.

For Port Allegany's part, Emily Errick was incredible, scoring three runs and stealing a base while getting on base in all four of her plate appearances. Another player making a difference was Alayna McKervey, who scored three runs while getting on base in three of her four plate appearances.
