Football Game Preview: Glendale Prep Academy Griffins vs. Highland Prep West HORNETS + Official Tickets

The Glendale Prep Academy Griffins are taking a road trip to face off against the Highland Prep West HORNETS at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (Glendale Prep Academy has three straight wins, Highland Prep West has three straight defeats), but none of that matters once you're on the field.

Glendale Prep Academy proved they can win big last Friday (they won by 40) and on Friday they proved they can win the close ones too. They came out on top in a nail-biter against Tonopah Valley, sneaking past 36-34.

A big part of Glendale Prep Academy's victory came down to the chemistry between Joshua McHale and his top target Dylan Lincoln. McHale threw for 191 yards and three touchdowns while Lincoln picked up 144 receiving yards and three TDs. What's more, McHale posted two rushing touchdowns, the most he's had since back in November of 2024.

Meanwhile, Highland Prep West lost to Antelope at home by a 27-13 margin on Friday.

Highland Prep West now has a losing record of 3-4. As for Glendale Prep Academy, their win bumped their record up to 5-2.
