Union Area is headed into Friday's contest hungry for a win as their strong season has now been derailed by two straight losses. They lost 78-53 to Our Lady of the Sacred Heart on Friday.

Meanwhile, Grove City entered their tilt with Fairview on Monday with two consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with three. They walked away with a 42-35 victory over the Tigers. The 42-point effort marked the Eagles' lowest-scoring matchup of the season, but in the end it didn't matter.

Grove City's win was their seventh straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 6-2. The wins came thanks to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 29.1 points per game. As for Union Area, their defeat was their first in the conference, dropping their conference record down to 2-1 and their overall record down to 7-2.
