Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Porterville). They blew past the El Diamante Miners, posting a 43-14 win. The result was nothing new for the Panthers, who have now won four matchups by 28 points or more so far this season.

A big part of Porterville's victory came down to the chemistry between Ethan Enriquez and his top target Mark Salinas. Enriquez threw for 272 yards and three touchdowns while completing 86.4% of his passes while Salinas rushed for 120 yards and a touchdown on only five carries. Salinas really tore up the turf during one magnificent 97-yard run. Jonathan Ruiz was another key player, picking up 79 receiving yards and two touchdowns.

Porterville's win bumped their record up to 6-2. As for El Diamante, their loss was their fifth straight at home dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 1-7.

Porterville has already played their next match, a 28-19 victory against Mt. Whitney on the 25th. As for El Diamante, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next game, a 42-14 defeat against Redwood on the 25th.
