Volleyball Recap: Dynamic Duo of Allie Dunn and Anna Staiger Lead Clever to Victory

Clever's game last Thursday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Tuesday. They walked away with a 3-1 win over the Billings Wildcats. That's more bragging rights for the Blue Jays, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Clever was especially dominant in the second set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-18, 25-15, 23-25, 25-18.

Clever was led to victory by Anna Staiger and Allie Dunn. Staiger had 18 digs and six assists, while Dunn had 12 digs. That's the most digs Dunn has posted over her last 11 matches.

Clever was lethal from the service line and finished the game with 16 aces. They are 3-1 when they serve at least ten aces.

The victory got Clever back to even at 5-5-2. As for Billings, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-4.
