Softball Recap: C.B. Aycock Comes Up Short

C.B. Aycock was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They came up short against the Rosewood Eagles, falling 8-1. If the Golden Falcons were looking for revenge after losing 17-5 to the Eagles when the teams met back in March of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

C.B. Aycock saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Paisley Mooring, who scored a run while going 1-for-3.

C.B. Aycock's loss dropped their record down to 1-4. As for Rosewood, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 3-0.

C.B. Aycock has already played their next contest, a 22-0 victory against Hunt on the 11th. As for Rosewood, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next matchup, a 14-0 win against Princeton on the 11th.
