Baseball Recap: Wyomissing Comes Up Short

Wyomissing came into their game on Friday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They came up short against the Bermudian Springs Eagles, falling 12-2. Having soared to a lofty 13 runs in the game before, the Spartans couldn't push the score so high this time.

Wyomissing saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Parker LaFerriere, who went a perfect 3-for-3 with one run. Daniel Noey also deserves some recognition as he snagged his first stolen base of the season.

Wyomissing's defeat dropped their record down to 15-8. As for Bermudian Springs, the victory was the 18th in a row for them, bringing their record up to 19-1.

Wyomissing does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Bermudian Springs has already played their next contest (against Berks Catholic), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
