Pickens has been on the road for three straight, but on Friday they'll finally head home. They will take on the Johnson Knights at 7:30 p.m. Having both just faced considerable losses, both teams are looking to turn things around.

Pickens is headed into the contest out to prove that what happened against Chestatee on Friday (when they were outscored in every quarter) was just a minor bump in the road. Pickens lost 37-14 to Chestatee.

Meanwhile, Johnson was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their eighth straight defeat dating back to last season. They were beaten by Lumpkin County 64-14. One positive for the Knights, at least, is that this was the most points they've scored all season.

Despite the loss, Johnson got top-tier performance from Montyrious Young, who rushed for 175 yards and two touchdowns while picking up 8.0 yards per carry. Young really tore up the turf during one magnificent 71-yard run.

Pickens has traveled a rocky road recently having lost four of their last five matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-4 record this season. As for Johnson, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-7.
