Volleyball Recap: Minooka Takes a Loss

Minooka lost against Neuqua Valley last Tuesday, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Indians fell 2-0 to the Wildcats.

Bennett Robinson paced Minooka's offense, picking up nine kills. Robinson got some help from Nicholas Boyce and his 14 assists.

Minooka has traveled a rocky road recently, having lost six of their last eight contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 5-9 record this season. As for Neuqua Valley, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 13-3.

Minooka's road trip will continue as they head out to face St. Charles East at 10:45 a.m. on Saturday. The last four games the Fighting Saints have played have been within one set, so don't be surprised if it's a close one. As for Neuqua Valley, they will square off against Metea Valley at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday.
