Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Tioga). They skirted past the Chico Dragons 65-63. The victory was a breath of fresh air for the Bulldogs as it put an end to their four-game losing streak.

When it comes to explaining why Chico lost on Friday, don't look at Jordan Weiland. Despite the final result, he dropped a double-double on 37 points and 14 boards. That was a full 58.7% of Chico's points, marking the 11th time in a row he's posted more than a third of the team's points. The team also got some help courtesy of Taylor Weiland, who scored two points and five assists.

Tioga's win bumped their record up to 8-13. As for Chico, they have also been struggling recently as they've lost eight of their last nine matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 11-15 record this season.

Tioga has already played their next game (against Era), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Chico will challenge Alvord at 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Chico is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 53.5 points per game this season.
