Soccer Recap: Jefferson County Find Success

Jefferson County kept a clean sheet against West Ridge on Thursday. They walked away with a 2-0 win over Wolves. That's two games straight that Jefferson County have won by exactly two goals.

Joshua Diaz was the driving force of Jefferson County's attack as he scored both of Jefferson County's goals, bringing his season total up to nine goals.

The victory made it two in a row for Jefferson County and bumps their season record up to 4-5-1. The wins came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only given up zero goals over those two matches. As for West Ridge, they dropped their record down to 3-3-3 with the defeat, which was their third straight on the road.

Looking ahead, Jefferson County will head out to take on Halls at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for West Ridge, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Daniel Boone at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
