Recap: Madison Warhawks vs. Mission Bay Buccaneers
On Tuesday, Madison came up short against Mission Bay and fell 55-45. While losing is never fun, Madison can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' California basketball rankings (they are ranked 527th, while Mission Bay is ranked 153rd).
Several Warhawks players turned in solid performances, despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Tristan Moore, who scored 12 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Eli Stevens, who scored 15 points.
Madison has not been sharp recently, as they've lost six of their last seven games, which put a noticeable dent in their 9-10 record this season. As for Mission Bay, their victory bumped their record up to 11-7.
Coincidentally, the two teams will both be playing San Diego the next time they take the court. Mission Bay will host San Diego at 6:15 p.m. on Friday, while Madison will head out to face them at 6:15 p.m. on Tuesday.
