Baseball Recap: Hoffman Estates Comes Up Short

Rolling Meadows hit Hoffman Estates with a five-run sixth inning on Thursday, which goes a long way in explaining the final result. The Hawks fell 10-6 to the Mustangs. The Hawks have struggled against the Mustangs recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive lost meeting.

Hoffman Estates saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Colin Schoewe, who went 3-for-4 with one RBI. Derek Conjardi was another, going 2-for-4 with two runs and one RBI.

Hoffman Estates' record is now 4-13. As for Rolling Meadows, their victory bumped their record up to 14-3.
