Football Recap: Superior Piles Up the Points Against Plains + How To Watch

There's no place like home for Superior, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Friday. They claimed a resounding 48-8 win over the Plains Horsemen. The Bobcats haven't had any issues with the Horsemen recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive victory against them.

Superior's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Turner Milender, who rushed for 65 yards and three scores on only eight carries. Milender also deserves a shoutout for his performance on D, picking up two sacks and making eight total tackles. Another receiver making a difference was Gannon Quinlan, who picked up 86 receiving yards and one TD.

Superior's defense stepped up as well, laying out the QB five times. The heavy lifting was done by Tyler Mellon and Milender, who racked up four sacks between them. Mellon also set a new season-high mark in total tackles with six.

Superior's victory bumped their record up to 5-2. As for Plains, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 0-3.

Superior didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next matchup, a 52-6 win against Arlee on the 17th. Plains has also already played their next game (against Troy), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
