Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Plato). Their pitchers stepped up to hand Bradleyville a 24-0 shutout on Friday. Plato might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won 15 contests by eight runs or more this season.

The victory made it two in a row for Plato and bumps their season record up to 15-4. The wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered a grand total of 1 runs in those games. As for Bradleyville, their loss was their eighth straight at home dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 0-4.

Looking ahead, Plato will square off against Licking at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Bradleyville, they will face off against Couch at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday. The Indians have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 18.83 runs per game on average), something the Eagles will no doubt try to take advantage of.
