Basketball Recap: Harrison Panthers vs. Sand Creek Scorpions
Sand Creek came into Saturday's matchup looking for another win against Harrison, but Dylan Arocho wouldn't allow it. The stars were shining brightly for the Panthers in a 56-41 win over the Scorpions on Saturday for which the team can thank Arocho, who shot 71% from the field en route to 23 points and eight boards. He is on a roll when it comes to shooting accuracy, as he's posted one of at least 50% in the last three games he's played.
Several Scorpions players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Weston Van Slyke, who almost dropped a double-double with 12 points and nine rebounds. Izah Yates also deserves some recognition as he posted his first block of the season.
