League recap: William Tennent stuns Bensalem in upset

The biggest upset of the week belonged to William Tennent, who took down 141st ranked Bensalem, 35-14.

Neshaminy's Nate Hall recorded the longest rushing play in Suburban One - National this season in his game against Council Rock North last week. Hall's team beat the Indians as he sprinted for 72 yards on the play and finished with 146 in all.

Neshaminy's offense was tough to stop this week, as it produced the league's top passer, rusher and receiver. Joe Falkowski threw for 148 and two touchdowns and Justin Andrews had 129 yards receiving. Cole Creighton helped Neshaminy's passing attack out by catching two balls for 26 yards.

Brandon McIlwain provided a threat through the air and on the ground as Council Rock North lost to Mark Schmidt's team. He completed 12 passes for 198 yards and one touchdown and also ran for 47 yards. McIlwain's favorite target this week was Josh McWilliams, who caught four passes for 75 yards.

On the ground, the Redskins' Hall has rushed for 611 yards which leads the league. The leading receiver in the league this season is Andrews. The Neshaminy star has 19 catches for 355 yards.

A big matchup in the league this week will be when the Panthers take on Pennsbury. William Tennent is in fourth place, while the Falcons are in first place.

Falkowski and Andrews provided fans with a highlight when they connected against Adam Collachi's team. The longest such play in Suburban One - National this season, the connection resulted in 150 yards.
