The Bosque Bobcats will take on the New Mexico Military Institute Colts at 3:00  p.m.  on Monday. The two teams are sauntering into the matchup backed by comfortable wins in their prior games.
Bosque is headed in fresh off scoring the most  runs they have   all season. They put the hurt on Varsity Opponent with a sharp  16-3 victory on Saturday. The  win was some much needed relief for the Bobcats as it spelled an end to their seven-game losing streak.

 Drew Hebert made a big impact no matter where he played. On the mound, he  tossed two innings while giving up   no  earned runs or  hits. Hebert was also solid in the batter's box,  going 1-for-4 with two  runs, one  stolen base,  and one  RBI. Those  two  runs gave  him a new career-high.
 In other batting news,  Luca Kalishman and  Tas Lupo did most of the damage at the plate:  Kalishman  went 3-for-4 with three  runs, one  triple,  and one  double, while  Lupo  went 3-for-4 with three  RBI, two  doubles,  and one  stolen base. That's the most  runs  Kalishman has posted since back in April of 2024.  Everett Hebert was another key player,  going 2-for-3 with three  runs and two  RBI.
 Bosque  always had someone on base and  finished the game having  posted an OBP of .556. That's the best  OBP they've posted all season.
Meanwhile, New Mexico Military Institute came tearing into  Thursday's  contest with three straight wins  (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 4 runs), and they left with even more momentum. They blew past the Sundevils 20-1. The result was nothing new for the Colts, who have now won nine matchups by six  runs or more  so far this season.
  Javier Yepiz Galindo was a standout: he went 4-for-5 with one  home run, five  RBI,  and three  runs. New Mexico Military Institute is undefeated when  Yepiz Galindo posts two or  more  runs, but 5-6 otherwise. Another player making a difference was  Grant Maloney, who  got on base  in all three of his plate appearances with one  home run, four  runs,  and four  RBI.
 Bosque's victory bumped their record up to 2-13. As for New Mexico Military Institute, their win bumped their record up to 13-6.
