On Tuesday Codey Padilla struck out six batters over 5.1 innings while giving up just two earned (and two unearned) runs off eight hits (and not a single walk). The performance also marked the fewest walks (zero) Padilla has had since back in March of 2024. As if that's not impressive enough, the pitching appearance was his third in a row with less than one walk. This season, he has an ERA of 1.62 over 17.3 innings pitched.
