Baseball Recap: Omro Takes a Loss

Tuesday just wasn't the day for Omro's offense. They lost 6-0 to the St. Mary's Springs Ledger on Tuesday. The Foxes have struggled against the Ledger recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive lost matchup.

Omro saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Evan Bernier, who went 1-for-3 with one stolen base. Bernier has been hot, having posted at least one stolen base the last six times he's played.

Omro's defeat dropped their record down to 10-2. As for St. Mary's Springs, they have been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five games. That's provided a nice bump to their 9-4 record this season.

While Omro had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.
