It was a good run, but Wickliffe unfortunately witnessed the end of their five-game winning streak on Thursday. They lost 13-5 to the Perry Pirates.
For Perry's part, Morgan Winters was a major factor while hitting and pitching. She struck out six batters over 3.2 innings while giving up just one earned run off five hits (and only one walk). Winters was also stellar in the batter's box, going 2-for-5 with a home run and four RBI.
