Grand Oaks gave up the first runs on Tuesday, but they didn't let that get them down. They skirted past the College Park Cavaliers 5-3. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 3-1 back in March.

Grand Oaks has been performing well recently as they've won six of their last eight matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 19-9 record this season. Those wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 3.3 runs on average over those games. As for College Park, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 11-13.

Coming up, Grand Oaks will challenge New Caney at 6:15 p.m. on Friday. As for College Park, they will head out on the road to square off against Willis at 6:15 p.m. on Friday. The Wildkats will roll in looking for their fourth straight victory, something the Cavaliers surely won't give up without a fight.
