Patton is a perfect 8-0 against Chase since January of 2019 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Tuesday. The Patton Panthers will head out to face off against the Chase Trojans at 6:00 p.m. The two teams have had a bumpy ride up to this point with six consecutive losses for Patton and 14 for Chase.

Last Friday, Patton lost to Brevard at home by a 37-18 margin.

Meanwhile, Chase was beaten by Polk County 68-13 on Friday. While losing is never fun, the Trojans can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' North Carolina basketball rankings (they are ranked 584th, while the Wolverines are ranked 81st).

Patton's loss dropped their record down to 4-18. As for Chase, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-18.

Everything came up roses for Patton against Chase in their previous matchup back in January, as the squad secured a 49-14 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for Patton since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
