Baseball Recap: Canal Winchester Takes a Loss

Canal Winchester made up a huge gap compared to their last game against Bloom-Carroll, but they still couldn't quite topple them. The Indians fell just short of the Bulldogs by a score of 2-0 on Thursday. The Indians haven't had much luck with the Bulldogs recently, as the team has come up short the last six times they've met.

Canal Winchester's loss dropped their record down to 12-9. As for Bloom-Carroll, they are on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven games. That's provided a nice bump to their 14-3 record this season.

Canal Winchester will face off against Bishop Hartley at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday. As for Bloom-Carroll, they will head out on the road to take on Newark at 5:30 p.m. on Friday.
