Volleyball Recap: Walker Valley Takes a Loss

Walker Valley was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their ninth straight defeat dating back to last season. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Chattanooga School for the Liberal Arts Eagles. If the Mustangs were looking for revenge after losing 2-0 to the Eagles when the teams met back in September of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

The loss didn't mean the game wasn't competitive: Chattanooga School for the Liberal Arts scored at least 17 points in every set. The final score came out to 25-18, 25-17.

Walker Valley's defeat dropped their record down to 0-4. As for Chattanooga School for the Liberal Arts, the victory (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 5-1.

Coming up, Walker Valley will face off against Howard Tech at 6:15 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Chattanooga School for the Liberal Arts, they will take on Chattanooga Girls Leadership Academy at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
