Volleyball Game Preview: Milford Scarlet Hawks vs. Taunton Tigers

The Milford Scarlet Hawks will be defending their home court for the first time this season when they go up against the Taunton Tigers at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday. The two teams are strolling into their games after big wins in their previous games.

On Monday, Milford got the win against King Philip Regional by a conclusive 3-0. The win continues a trend for the Scarlet Hawks in their matchups with the Warriors: they've now won six in a row.

The 3-0 score doesn't show just how dominant Milford was: they took every set by at least 11 points. The final score came out to 25-14, 25-10, 25-8.

Meanwhile, Taunton made easy work of Attleboro on Monday and carried off a 3-0 victory. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Tigers.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-11, 25-10, 25-16.

Everything went Milford's way against Taunton when the teams last played back in March of 2024, as Milford made off with a 3-0 win. Does Milford have another victory up their sleeve, or will Taunton turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
