Softball Recap: Wilmington Takes a Loss

Wilmington lost against New Castle back in May of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. The Greyhounds came up short against the Hurricanes, falling 11-4. The Greyhounds have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Avery Harlan was cooking despite her team's loss, going 2-for-3 with two runs, one stolen base, and one double.

Wilmington's defeat dropped their record down to 11-6. As for New Castle, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 10-10.

As of now, neither Wilmington nor the Hurricanes have any future games scheduled.
