Basketball Recap: Glasgow's Higher State Rank on Full Display on Monday

Glasgow won the last time they faced Jamestown and things went their way on Monday too. The Glasgow Yellowjackets took down Jamestown 70-54. Given the Yellowjackets' advantage in MaxPreps' Missouri basketball rankings (they are ranked 210th, while Jamestown are ranked 497th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Glasgow has also been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six contests, which provided a nice bump to their 9-5 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 69.0 points per game. As for Jamestown, they dropped their record down to 3-12 with the loss, which was their fourth straight on the road.

Glasgow will be playing at home against Blair Oaks at 7:30 p.m. on February 4th. Jamestown has already played their next match, a 69-60 victory against Sweet Springs on the 29th.
